SAN LUIS OBISPO -- 33rd Assembly District candidate and Republican frontrunner Matt Kokkonen has named Atascadero resident and local business owner Brent MacGregor as his North San Luis Obispo County Campaign Director.
MacGregor, a 1988 Cal Poly graduate in political science and owner of a local photography company, will be heading up Kokkonen’s campaign efforts in the Paso Robles-Atascadero region, including planning campaign events such as town hall meetings, rallies, and fundraisers.
"I am proud to have Brent on my side. He has a terrific knowledge of North County which has historically been one of my strongest areas of support.
Brent’s chief mission will be to harness and grow that support in the coming weeks and months as we head toward the June primary," said Kokkonen.

Matt Kokkonen is a San Luis Obispo financial planner and political activist. In 2008, he was the Republican nominee for Congress in the 23rd District, receiving over 80,000 votes. Currently, he is a candidate for State Assembly in the 33rd District.
